Next Sale dates 2025 – how to book an early VIP Slot

Next is well known for its popular sales, with thousands of bargain hunters queuing early in the morning or refreshing their browsers online in hopes of securing a deal. As Christmas 2025 approaches, customers are already looking ahead to when Next’s key sales will take place.

The first major sale of the year is expected to land on Boxing Day 2025, rolling into early January 2026. This winter clearance event is traditionally one of Next’s biggest, offering deep discounts on fashion, home and childrenswear.

Historically, stores have opened early on 26 December, while the online sale has gone live either overnight or early that morning.

The Spring Sale usually takes place in late March or early April, often coinciding with the Easter school holidays.

This event is more limited than the Boxing Day clearance but still features significant reductions across seasonal lines. Customers who are part of the Next mailing list or who hold a Next account often receive priority access before the general public.

Next typically launches its Summer Sale in late June, with further reductions added in early July.

This sale is popular for clearing out warm-weather clothing, swimwear, garden furniture and outdoor homeware. Both in-store and online shoppers can expect discounts of up to 50 percent or more during this period.

The Autumn Sale generally falls in late September, serving as a mid-season event to move summer stock and introduce clearance on early autumn pieces. While smaller than the summer or winter sales, it still presents a good opportunity to find value before the big Christmas build-up.

Lastly, the pre-Christmas clearance or Black Friday event in late November has grown in importance for Next. While Next is not known for a massive Black Friday presence, in recent years the retailer has offered limited-time deals online and small price cuts in-store. Customers looking for last-minute festive deals often benefit from these pre-holiday reductions.

To stay ahead of sale dates, shoppers are advised to register for a Next account, download the app, or sign up for email notifications.

With some sales offering early VIP access, those who are already engaged with the brand tend to receive the first invitations. Planning ahead is key, as top picks often sell out quickly once the discounts go live.
