Groupon does not currently offer a specific NHS discount. NHS staff use the same deals as all other customers.
Most Groupon listings already carry a saving against the standard price, and any exclusive codes appear in the deal section at the top of this page.
How Groupon works
Groupon is an online marketplace that connects customers with local and national merchants, launched in 2008 and operating across multiple countries. Listings cover experiences, spa days, dining, travel, goods, and services at a reduced price.
Each deal is sold as a voucher that is redeemed with the merchant. The range and pricing change frequently, so checking the site regularly tends to surface the strongest savings.
Redeeming a Groupon voucher
Purchased vouchers are stored under the My Groupons area of the account, reached from the account menu at the top of the Groupon website. Each voucher carries a Groupon code and a security code.
These codes are presented to the merchant or entered at checkout to claim the deal. Any exclusive Groupon codes featured on this page are entered in the same way at the Groupon basket stage.
Groupon returns
Unwanted goods can be returned free of charge within 30 days of the delivery date. Returns are started from the My Groupon section by selecting the item and choosing the return option.
A prepaid mailing label is then printed and attached to the package before it is dropped at a post office. Refund timescales and any exceptions are confirmed on the Groupon website.
Other ways NHS staff save
For confirmed experience day savings, the Virgin Experience Days NHS discount covers days out and gift experiences. Further deals across retailers are on the Shopping discounts page.
