YouFibre is a full-fibre broadband provider with competitive pricing, particularly on higher-speed tiers. There is no NHS or Blue Light Card discount, but standard pricing is already low enough that a separate NHS rate would make little practical difference for most customers.
Does YouFibre offer an NHS discount?
YouFibre does not run an NHS or Blue Light Card scheme. All customers pay the same rates, and because pricing is kept competitive across the board, the absence of a specific NHS discount matters less than it would with pricier providers.
YouFibre broadband packages
YouFibre focuses exclusively on full-fibre broadband, meaning the connection runs on fibre optic cables to the premises rather than through older copper lines. This produces more consistent speeds, particularly during peak hours in the evening.
The entry-level package starts at 150Mbps, which is sufficient for streaming, video calls and working from home. A 900Mbps package is also available at a price that most larger providers cannot match at that speed. For a comparison, Plusnet broadband and BT broadband are worth checking if a bundled phone line is preferred.
YouFibre coverage and availability
YouFibre is still expanding its network and is not yet available across all of the UK. Coverage is strongest in specific towns and cities where its own infrastructure has been laid. A postcode check on the YouFibre website confirms whether the address is currently covered.
Where YouFibre does not yet cover an area, Be Fibre is another budget-friendly full-fibre alternative, and Virgin Media has wider coverage across the UK with a range of speed tiers.
YouFibre compared to other broadband providers
YouFibre’s main advantage is pricing relative to speed. For broadband-only users who do not need a TV package bundled in, it is a strong option to compare. For those who want TV alongside broadband, Sky Glass or NOW TV can be added as a separate entertainment subscription alongside a YouFibre broadband plan.
